KTH Scholarships

KTH Scholarships, awarded annually, recognize academic excellence among students who are liable for tuition fees and have prioritized KTH for their Master’s program. KTH offers a variety of scholarships, including the KTH One-Year Scholarship, KTH Joint Programme Scholarship, and KTH India Scholarship.

Eligible Fields

All programs, except joint Erasmus+, EIT Digital, EIT InnoEnergy, EIT Urban Mobility, Nordic Five Tech programs, and the joint program Computer Simulations for Science and Engineering.

In 2023, 8% of scholarship applicants admitted to a program were nominated for the KTH Scholarship (55 out of 677).

Scholarship Value and Duration

The KTH Scholarship covers tuition fees for the first and second years at KTH, contingent on satisfactory results in the first year. Living costs are not included.


To qualify, you must be liable for tuition fees and select KTH as your primary choice for a Master’s program. Students with conditional eligibility can also apply. Scholarships are primarily awarded based on academic excellence and are nominated concurrently with the admission selection process for the applied program.

Chalmers IPOET Scholarships for International Students

Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden is set to provide approximately 35 IPOET scholarships in 2023, supported by the Swedish Council for Higher Education. These scholarships are aimed at prospective fee-paying students, contributing to their academic journey.

Unrestricted – applicable to all current Master’s Programs offered at Chalmers.

Target Group

Citizens from non-EU/EEA countries are the primary beneficiaries of these scholarships.

Scholarship Value and Duration

  • A 75% reduction in tuition fees (covering a 2-year program with 4 semesters)
  • Exceptional students excelling in their first year can receive an increased scholarship of 85% for the second and final year.
  • Scholarships are not disbursed in cash but are adjusted in terms of tuition fees.


The scholarship is open to citizens from non-EU/EEA countries obliged to pay tuition fees for their Swedish university education. Applicants must be first-year Master’s program candidates. Selection is based on academic merit, considering average grade, home university’s prestige, and priority order of the Chalmers Master’s program application.

Warwick Chancellor’s International Scholarships

The University of Warwick invites international and EU students to apply for the annual Chancellor’s International Scholarships. These scholarships are awarded through a combined postgraduate research scholarship competition and cover any discipline offered at Warwick.

The scholarships are open to both international and EU students.

Scholarship Value and Duration

For entry in Autumn 2024, the awards comprise:

  • Full payment of overseas tuition fees
  • A maintenance stipend in line with prevailing UKRI rates (£18,750 for 2024/25) for 3.5 years
  • A Research, Training, and Supporting Grant (RTSG) of £5,000


Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Apply for a PhD at the University of Warwick to commence in October 2024, or
  • Be currently enrolled in the first year of a PhD or MPhil/PhD at the University of Warwick, with enrollment not exceeding 12 months by October 2024.
  • Be classified as ‘overseas’ for fee purposes; no other nationality criteria apply.
  • Belong to any discipline offered at Warwick.

  • Applications for the 2024/25 entry are open from 18 October 2023.
  • Submit your course application before 12 December 2023, followed by the scholarship application online before 14 December 2023.

Uppsala University Global Scholarships

Uppsala University provides scholarships for fee-paying students enrolling in Master’s programs beginning in the autumn of 2024. One of these programs is the Uppsala University Global Scholarships, previously known as Uppsala IPK Scholarships.

To be considered for the Uppsala University Global Scholarships, applicants must:

  • Apply for a Uppsala University Master’s program through University Admissions from 16 October 2023 to 15 January 2024. The Uppsala University program should be chosen as the first priority.
  • Submit an online scholarship application form between 10-22 January 2024.
