The VUFP scholarship covers tuition fees. However, it doesn’t provide additional allowances for living or study expenses.The scholarship can be granted for one or two years. For the second year of a two-year Master’s program, you must have completed 100% of the first-year credits.

Additionally, when you apply for the VUFP scholarship, you’re automatically considered for the NL Scholarship. The HSP component of the NL Scholarship offers living cost contributions of either €5,000 or €10,000 for one year, but the NL Scholarship is exclusively for the first year of your study program.

Application Process

To apply for the VUFP scholarship:

1. Apply and gain conditional admission to a Master’s program.

2. Register for a Master’s program in Studielink by December 1, 2023 (from October 1, 2023).

3. Submit your VUFP application with supporting documents in your VU dashboard before February 1, 2024 (from November 1, 2023).
